What is the run like? Stock? Slight mods? Advanced only?

And how much of the day are we talking here? A few hours? Pack in a lunch?

We will be meeting at the ranger station (5172 Highway 78, Borrego Springs, CA) at Blow Sand at 10:00am.

We are planning to play on the dirt hills and trails on the way over to Pumpkin Patch and/or Cross Over Trail. Cross Over Trail will spit us out at S22. Both of these trails are rated moderate. We estimate that we will be out there for about 4 hours, so packing a lunch and plenty of water would be a good idea.

Vernnz, we did moderate trails when we were stock (which was until 3 weeks ago), but it's your call. You are more than welcome to join us

Wow, thats a 4 hour drive from our place. I will probably have to pass. This looks like a great area to explore. Is the terrain similar to truck haven? Maybe next time.

I can usually cut out of work early if I want to but that is a little too early for me. Sorry but you can count me out.

Just be careful you don't take the "difficult" route to Pumpkin Patch like we did last spring. It's like finding your way out of a maze and get's a little freaky on some of those trails that end up going nowhere...
