I am not one to beat up on Vendors, especially sponsors of JK-Forum, but I ordered a Set of Bed Treads From Rebel Offroad. I received BedRugs... So I called, and was told I made the mistake. My mistake was not ordering from Amazon. To top this off they are going to nail me with a 15% restocking fee, if I return them.

I have been looking at these for the better part of a year. I know what I wanted, double checked before I made the online order.

I call Bullshit.

Customer is always right my ass..

Not a happy camper.

Dear Members-

This post has been brought to our attention and we wanted to give some clarity to the situation. Here at Rebel Off Road, we really pride our selves on treating each customer with fairness and with a high level of integrity. In this particular case, we have called this customer (David) and left him a voice mail in addition to an email, trying to help him out with no response. I feel like he isn't responding to the earlier replies as he did look at his confirmation and noticed that he did in fact order the BedRug instead of the BedTread. To be fair to all parties, I have attached a copy of the same confirmation he received below.

David, we are still very eager to assist you and would like to resolve your ordering issue I would be more than happy to help you out as best as we can. Please don't hesitate to give us a call 866-900-8841.

Sincerely,

REBEL OFF ROAD

First off, no, I was not Ignoring your attempts at contact, I was taking care of one of My clients.

Secondly, the telephone contact I had when I discovered there was a issue left a lot to be desired. Being treated like a idiot over the phone pisses people off. Your Customer is your customer, end of story. As a business that wants people to purchase items and or services, don't you think you should treat people with respect?

I am not selling anything to anyone. I don't give a rats ass about what others say about me. Anyone whom felt the need to comment was not in my shoes, so I wont hold ignorance against them.

I was given 1 option which I did not find acceptable. It is not my job to figure out a solution that acceptable to both your customer and your business.

I as a consumer, I make my own choices on whom to purchase goods from. Normally I tend to purchase from vendors that Sponsor this site. I guarantee that if this had been a purchase from NorhtRidge4X4, or a few others, the situation would have been satisfactory taken care of on the first phone call.

It shouldn't matter whom made a mistake. When you get down to it, it is immaterial.

The questions you should be asking yourself:
Is your Customer satisfied?
Did they receive good treatment?
Will they buy from us again?

Yes, I was pissed about how I felt I was treated. I found your staff arrogant, unhelpful, and did not provide any other options to me that I found acceptable. So I lashed out. 99% of the people here would have done the same thing.

I am not in this to make money your company is.

So everyone is free to take with them what they want from this thread.

I have options that do not include your company, if I feel that this situation does not get resolved to my satisfaction.

Sure he might have made a mistake but a 15% restocking fee? Come on Rebel you can do better. Make him pay to ship it back and get him what he wants. Thats just good business.
