This their first off road adventure like this?

Break 'em in easy. Take 'em up to Red Rock Canyon do some less insane stuff like that gnarly climb outta Bouquet. Go up Goler Gulch and then over to see some of the sites back in Red Rock... Colorado Cabin, the mines back there, Burro Schmidt Tunnel, Bickel Camp, then down through Last Chance.
I have done lost chance. So you start from around 395 then make your way to last chance canyon? There are some nice trails up there, I got to get up there sometime. I have done the fire roads on Rowher with them before. It might just be easier to leave them at home.lol

I would have joined up also. Since I live in Oxnard, I'm all about hitting closer trails.

Two ways to get to Last Chance... One off the 14 and the other from Garlock Rd. Garlock Rd goes to 395 but the turn to last chance is about 4 miles from the 14-Garlock Rd split.

Know lots of people who wheel that leave their family at home. Real shame because there is a lot to see and do out in these parts.

Mason's Hide out & Striped Butte to name a very few places in Death Valley (DV)
Mines and camps in DV and Red Rock Canyon that you just can get to by anything other than 4x4 of some kind.
Just up here in the Piutes there are 4 old mine camps to go check out, an animal sanctuary. In Cal City there is turtle preserve to wander around as well.
