Rowher Flat Hardcore Rock Garden
Vince and I had a couple of spare hours today so we headed over to the Rowher Flat OHV area. We had a little rain last night so we thought it would be fun, which it was, but we also wanted to check out the new hardcore rock garden practice area. If any of you have not tried this yet, it is a great place to really test the limits of your rig, without the danger of being stuck somewhere very far away. We ended up only having about 30 minutes to play in the practice area, but we'd really like to go back for more. Below are a few photos:
I really like this sign:

Hmmm; okay this looks very hard - so I really want to do it!!:

Getting started:

Hey Dad, was that my front diff I just heard scrapping?:

Seriously Dad; can you please stop taking pictures and spot me?:

I'm pretty sure you are okay...I would just gas it really hard...

Are we done yet?:

Okay, there are some really big holes in this run:

Here are a few more photos. We took the shorter route, but you can also run it length-wise, which would take much longer and appears even more challenging. This is in our backyard, so if anyone wants to go head out there, please let us know.

Just wondering; does Full Traction offer a refund if you are able to rip their lower control arm bracket off the frame?:

Hey, are you sure I'm not going to scrape anything on the way down?!:

Did it!

Thanks Jen. It still has very large (tire and wheel swallowing) holes (mostly toward the center) and there are no rocks laying around that I was able to lift for rock-stacking, so it was all Vince on this run; well, plus a great Full-Traction long-arm lift, rancho diff skid plate, etc.!!

looks hella fun!
