Default Rowher trail?

Soo i was browsing my Charles A. Wells So Cal trail guide book and i came across the Rowher trail which is located in Rowher Flats ohv area just passed Santa Clarita. In the book the trial is rated difficult. Since the trail is somewhat close to my house i was debating on just making a run and checking it out one day but first i wanted to see if anyone's done the Rowher Trail on here and if it's a fun run. Thanks

It is a very easy and fun trail. I have been on the trail many times.

Ditto on what my friend Taher said. The only time Rowher is difficult is during rain or snow. There is an optional rock garden practice area at Staging Area 1 and that is very difficult. There are a bunch of us that live up this way, so if you are thinking of running it, post it up, and I'm sure you'll get someone who wants to join.

It's a pretty easy trail. I did it when my jeep was stock and I had no problems.

I wonder why charles wells labled it as "difficult" maybe it was tougher back in the day when the book was written

He rates it as difficult because you need low range gearing and is not meant for regular SUVs but is no problem for jeeps
