The Bird Sanctuary is in Modjeska Canyon and while there is a trail that goes from Modjeska to Main Divide Road, the trail is closed to the public.


Here's a map for ya. This shows two of the gates and has the towers marked. Just stay on Main Divide Road and you'll get to the towers. If you zoom in on the map, you'll see Main Divide Road marked and a topo map. Southern California Back Country Adventures (I think that's what it's called) is a book with good detail of the trail.

woods thanks for the map going tomorrow starting at the santiago entrance and going to wildomar OHV. I will be at the entrance about 8am and on 16 if anyone wants to catch up.

 

Nice I'd go with you if I can get up that early. Hopefully the gate going over to Wildomar will be open for yah. I'm waiting to get up by the towers to take in the view
