SAN DIEGO 4 WHEELERS 17th Annual Superstition Mountain Run Jan 16-18, 2015

Any idea on a camp location yet? We are planning on going, but we are not signing up for the event runs. With the kids on board it's better for us to have the flexibility of coming and going between the trails and camp as needed.
I might try to come up with a sand sled if I have time. Last time out there we used some snow sleds/discs that worked okay.

I will be camping just past the event by 200-300 yards on the left side of Wheeler road. I will be getting there Thursday night and leaving Monday sometime. Anybody is welcome at our camp. I will be flying an American flag and a yellow one under that. I will try to remember my red flashing light for the night.

I'm regestered also. May go out thurs nite or fri morning early. I'll look for your flag.
I'll be a "05 white Lj on a trailer.
If i remember rightly. You sign up for the run(s) at sign in/tech inspection.
their difficult one run fills fAST becuase they have a cap of 20. Was a good run last year.

I am looking forward to this weekend. This is my first time out at Superstition. I plan on running the Black Cat run. Maybe more depending on time. I will be camping with the San Diego Jeep Club, near the event base camp.

I was reading the requirements for the runs & realized I accidentally left my Hi-Lift in AZ a couple weeks ago when I was fabbing up a base for it! You think Ill be able to do the runs still? Do need to go buy another? I'd hate to waste the money but dont want to miss out!
