The plague seems to be passing. Tonight we have moved past just eating toast so things are looking better

Man! I always miss this local runs. But I was studying today anyways.

I was in Escondido on Friday and I made a U-Turn at Deer Springs but decided not to try it out alone.

I definitely want to make the next one. I need to check the forums more often!

Hey. Thanks for trying to call frank. I made it to ORW with no problem. They are replacing the whole gear box and I am having them put on a steering dampener so hopefully that won't happen again. I hope we can make that run again soon. I saw the pictures and it looked lke a lot of fun. Tha k you all again for the help getting out. When I talked to the guy at off road wharehouse he said they don't make a extended pitman arm for the jks. He said they make them for every year before that though. I would live it if someone could prove me wrong. Either way it gave me an excuse together some other work done as well. Thank you- mike

Sorry once again to see what happened. Can't wait to get out on the trail with you sometime. Best of luck with the repairs.

Looks like you guys had a good time. It looks like SM hills claimed some more carnage.....Mike, I am sorry to hear that but glad you made it off the trail OK. Good luck with the repair. It was good to meet you that morning even if I couldn't make the run. Hopefully we can get out there soon.

Hey Mike, Currie makes a dropped pitman arm for their Rock Jock kits, they are $125.00 on their website. Hope this helps.

Well it was like I was saying when we got you off the trail...talk to Siloh cuz he's the only one at ORW Escondido who knows Jeeps really well, unfortunately, like Kevin said Siloh moved up north so now you don't know what you're getting for the experience factor. Here's a bing search I did using "wrangler jk dropped pitman arm"
http://www.bing.com/search?q=wrangle...=QBLH&qs=n&sk=

I don't believe you need one if you have a wrangler jk HD draglink flip kit installed. Maybe someone with chime in on that or you can search the forum. I was running a 3" lift until recently but now that I'm at 4+" on the front I need a dropped pitman arm or (need to confirm this) I can go without if I have the draglink flip kit. So you might not need one depending on the outcome of that question if you are indeed running the draglink flip kit.

Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing you at the Suds n Grubs and back on the trails!
