I've never been to the sand drags, but I want to go. As you can see from the flyer below they'll be taking place at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto (near Hemet) October 4-6. I can't find a daily schedule yet, but I'm guessing that the finals will be on Sunday the 6th, so that's when I'm planning to go. If it turns out the Saturday events look more entertaining I might go that day instead. For the time being, Sunday the 6th it is.

The weekend schedule has been posted. It looks like they run it a lot like the NHRA drags. The eliminations are all on Sunday, so that's the day I'll be going. Planning to get there in time to watch the kids eliminations at 9:30.
