Frank, Dave, Eddie, and everyone else, thanks for a great time! It was great meeting new folks and wheeling with y'all. Sorry I had to leave without much fanfare or anything. I was supposed to be in Temecula at 7:00 pm for a friends b-day party. Got there about 7:15, quick shower, now worries!

Sidewinder was my first 'black diamond' run so I really appreciated the spotting help, Eddie. Andy, sorry that your 'big nuts' weren't enough to get you over those rocks unscathed. I have some video of the event, will try and upload later. I'm anxious to see the official pics of the run, I want to scare my wife with what I did!

Thanks again all.

Default Afternoon Run at Sidewinder!

*my disclaimer*
Most of these pics were taken by my older daughter Carli (15 yrs old) which are pretty good but the problem is camera battery died so they are the only pics I've got for the afternoon run at Sidewinder!

Please please share any pics you my have taken.

Doug (Trailbud) at four corners staging area

WOL leading jkmarine during the afternoon Sidewinder run

JKCarney following JKMARINE

Andy (ca-jk) at the first obstacle while Cindy captures the moment.

Jim (Graygoose) showing he's got some flex too

Lennykimes making his way through the boulders with co-pilot Joe

Jeff (gonegoannas) came down from Long Beach and were rewarded by some fun stuff at Sidewinder

Lennykimes and Eileen (mall crawler) during one of the stops

Moochie having no problems with the boulders...bring it on!

WOL providing excellent spotting for ca-jk

resulting in no problems with the obstacle for Andy

just got back from our day 2 adventures with moochie. did some exploring down by the mexican border near jacumba, checked out the elliot mine and hiked out to smuggler's cave and had a blast. of course, this was just icing on the cake after a great day yesterday with the SD Crew out in corral canyon!!

just looked though some of the pics that have been posted and was reminded of how much fun we had - good times for sure. i will try to get some more posted up as soon as i can.

big thanks goes to sm_rubi for putting this together and to kupost for leading the first half of the day. man, we sure met a lot of great people and i'm definitely looking forward to doing more runs with all of you

Eddie, I feel a little closer to you since you plugged my hole... There's not many guys I can say that to! Can't wait to hit the trails with you again!

Heather and I had a great time and we're looking forward to the next run! I'll post up some pics of the broken parts when I get a chance.
i'm truly touched

fortunately, it was just an axle break and nothing else and so close to the end of the trail

honestly, i was stunned when you told me that yesterday. you did great for your first time out and on a difficult rated trail.

for as long as you need. just check your fluid level from time to time and you'll be just fine.

Some of our pics. Susie even got one of the deer that got away. No captions because I don't know how to do it yet. We had a great time. Looking forward to more. Will try sending more pics.

OK. Forgive me. Still don't know how to do the no-clickies. Thought I knew. But then I found out... I don't know. Maybe by the time I make the next run down south with the San Diego peeps I'll be able to do them and the pics justice. In any event, I just want to say what great hosts you all were. It was a real treat meeting you all and I hope there will be many more good times ahead.
