Anyone know a good shop in the south bay (Redondo/Hermosa) to weld the C2 axle Gussets?

Why not make the short drive to ORE ?

 

because im lazy and don't want to drive to fullerton lol

 

I hear ya, I stayed 'local' too.

 

I made the drive over to ORE (about the same distance as you) because I didn't want to trust any general welder to weld stuff to my axle.

 

If you don't know a good welder you know you can trust, get off your lazy ass and take it to ORE or could bite you in the butt in the long run

 

yeah i know. i called, they are not open on weekends, and i would need to leave the jeep there for a day m-f which is a pain for me.

there is 4wheelparts, anyone have work done there before?

 

I spoke with 4wheelparts in redondo, they have installed C gussets before, but not the ORE ones. i would have to take time off from work and get a ride out there and back to get these installed at ORW. I think i am going to go to 4wheelparts, seems ok? there should be nothing to worry about since they done them before and work on jks?

 

If you're willing to drive down to Oceanside on a weekend, we have an experienced welder who's done ORE gussets before.

 

possibly, weekends are perfect and SD is always fun to visit. does he have a shop?
