SledgeHammer Trail - Johnson Valley
SledgeHammer is another trail we did this past weekend. I put together a pretty long video to show as much of the trail as possible in case anyone is considering running it and wants to get a better idea of the difficulty. In my opinion, Sledge is definitely tougher than Tack, ClawHammer, Lower and Upper Big Johnson, Chocolate Thunder, and a few others, so it is probably in the bottom 1/3 of the Hammer trails in terms of difficulty.
An experienced driver can get through with 35's on a 2-door, rock rails, and a winch. With this set-up you will get high-centered a lot and will use your winch often.

I did not have my Jeep with me, but my son (Vince) is in the black 2-door. All of his shafts are upgraded. But, more to your point, I have run Sledge before on 37 km2's on my 4-door and with stock shafts - It was a pretty tough trail with that set-up, but I did not have any breakage. But, I was easy on the gas and avoided any hopping...

No problems and if there were they have a 10 year warranty. I understand there was a long long wait list for the rubi rears when I was looking at them as upgrades.
