i got the SRC. it is a very simple install. the only problem i ran into was the studs pulled off center a tad when they were welded at the factory and the one hole they recommend you drill to a half inch had to go to 9/16ths and i had to do both sides. i like the xrc better, but got the src a bit cheaper. i will probably end up grinding off the bars on the corners of mine and leave just the front hoop. you will have a blast with frank and them. they are good people. wish i could join you.

I appreciate the post. I'm looking forward to getting mine on and its good to hear that it should be easy. Unfortunately, living in a dorm, I'm at the disadvantage of having no tools out here. I have a few wrenches and screw drivers in the back of my jeep and that is about it.

I wont be able to help this weekend, but a bit of advice...if you have a winch, but that on the bumper before you install the bumper. I learned the hard way that you cant install a winch after the bumper is installed becuase you cant access the winch bolts. Great bumper. enjoy.

What college? I am near SDSU. If you can haul the bumper here I have ratchets, sockets, breaker bars, torque wrench, etc. Any other special tools needed?

PM me for my email address.

I'm at USD--and I appreciate the offer but there is a group of people getting together this weekend to install a lift kit and I'm going to meet up with them. Thanks once again for the offer

haha yeah i forgot this. had to sweet talk my wife into reaching up through the holes cut in the lower part of the bumper to start the winch bolts. needless to say she gets her choice of where we eat out for the rest of this year.
