I suppose it would look cleaner.. And you could just tuck the cable away when not connected. Sounds good. At 1.97A though full load, I wonder how bad the drop would be. Might have to break out the Fluke for that! Good stuff brother man!

My sPod 2012+ mounting bracket broke

So I remounted it using an old 07-11 mount I had to the OEM ground bolts on the side

Should hopefully get me by (and through Moab) until I get a new bracket from sPod.
