Socal clutch party?
So I'm pretty sure my clutch is toast. I can still shift, but I'm revving up higher then normal without the propulsion. Especially up hills.
I've replaced the clutch in 08, it was a pita and it was my first time doing a clutch job. Needless to say, we cracked the plate during, at least that's what the transmission shop told me when I brought it in with problems. Ended up buying two clutches, wasting a day and paying a pro to do it.
I'd like to go the save money and do it right method. I know another member did a recent replacement, just seeing if anyone has a wrench party planned or is willing to host/assist. Since I'm living in a van down by the river, I don't have any of the tools to complete this. Im in no hurry, well unless it dies on me.
Just thought id ask before biting the bullet and paying a pro.

Thanks guys. I've done this before with some friends and it was a huge pita. I'm taking it to the shop tues to see what exactly is the problem and I'll go from there.
Basically, while driving the engine revs up but no power goes to the wheels. On hills it's almost redline. It feels like, when you drive and push the clutch in while giving it gas. It jumps up in rpm then drops and applies torque.
