Since there are so many people from SoCal that will be heading out to Moab EJS, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to see if anyone is interested in making the trek as a group. It would be an awesome site to see so many JK's making the drive together.

The plan has changed just a bit and we are now planning on heading out to Las Vegas on Friday night, April 3rd, and then heading to Moab from there on Saturday, April 4th. For those who would like to join us in Vegas on Friday night, we will be staying at the Silverton Casino. Rooms are $84 for 2 people. If you can't make it out Friday night, we will be meeting in Las Vegas at the Bass Pro Shop on Saturday morning at 10am. Please let us know if you plan on joining the convoy and when you will be meeting us.

Friday Meeting Place: We are planning to be at the Silverton Casion around 5pm and will be hanging around the large aquarium until around 7pm. Then we will be heading over to the Mi Casa Grill for dinner.

Sat Meeting Place: 10am in the Bass Pro Shop parking lot.

We don't have any definite plans yet about times and meeting places, but if it's anything like last year, we will probably try to meet up with everyone in Barstow around 8am.

We are leaving on Saturday as well. However, when you arrive at night you really miss out on some scenic views of the canyons etc. We were considering staying the night at a rest stop and finishing the drive on Sunday morning to get the views and break up the drive.

Any thoughts?
