ok guys I have a small problem..it seems that I don't know which group I would be in...socal or norcal???..i am in Madera...north of Fresno but south of modesto....kinda the armpit ya know???...it seems there is no cencal group to go with.
I know what you mean, we are in the SoCal area but I don't feel like I belong and we are defiantly not NoCal. Maybe what we need is a Central Cal. But your more than welcome to hang with us Southern San Joaquin Valley JK's.

We are all Jk owners it really shouldn't and doesn't matter where you live. It all depends on how far your willing to drive for a day trip. Weekend trips are easier the further away you are.

I went up to Bald Mtn up from Shaver lake twice last month..good times in the snow but couldn't get all the way up Bald Mtn. Had a bunch of land rovers there getting stuck all around. I try to get up to Shaver lake area twice a month. I moved from Norcal about 3 years ago and I am just now getting to know some central cal places to go since buying my JK. This year I definatly want to do a Dusy-Ershim trail one weekend to wheel and also fish.

07crawler do you have a lift yet. On the Dusy they ask that you do not to stack rocks. It's even posted on the trail head sign. 35s and lockers front and rear are recomended.

no lift as of yet, but a couple friends of mine say that I could make it without stacking , might just get a few plastic pieces bruised after looking at my Jeep, I could live with that..they are going in the garbage after I get my mods anyways. I should be lifting and getting tires this summer .

Bert, getting ready to work on it some more right now. I've gone through most of the video clips, just on more disc to go through. Then I have to edit the video and add music.
