someone stole my spare wheel + tire recently so I was wondering how many of you in the So Cal area hae had your JK's broken into or have had some parts stolen..

to the thieves out there; they'll pay for it one way or another...

I hate thieves. Hope you can find someone willing to part with a OE tire when they upgrade. I'm not in SoCal but I am heading out to the auto store to pick up a set of 5 wheel lock nuts. Sorry man, that sucks.

I have a brand new factory spare available if you need one. The tire is the Goodyear Wrangler ST, size P225/75 R 16. Let me know. BTW, that sucks about the theft, but you have to admit, they are all over the place here.

No problem. BTW, I went to Pepboys a couple of weeks ago and found that they carry some decent bicycle type locks for things like securing a spare tire. You might want to give them a visit. Glad you found a spare quickly.

Wow, sorry that sucks. Luckily ,I discovered my Thule Spare tire bike rack locks to the frame, so it'd be a serious PITA for anyone to try to steal my spare.

At Dodger stadium last summer, Jeep was parked topless, doors locked... someone reached over & stole my 3' aux cable to my iPod..... seriously?? It's only a couple bucks, but what the hell is wrong with people!?!

Awe man, that sucks. Sorry to hear. I had the dealership throw in a set of wheel locks, gas cap lock (keyed to Jeep key), and a hood lock (also keyed to Jeep key) when I bought my JK. Thieves are like bad drivers, they're everywhere.

That bites. Sorry for your loss man.

The day I got my jeep I bought wheel locks from Jeep. I put two on the spare tire just to make it a pain to take off.
