Default Summer Mega-Run

Hey everyone, I was thinking of doing a crazy trip this summer and wanted to throw it out there to see if there is any interest in doing it. What I was thinking about was to make a bonsai run from So Cal to http://www.toplessfortatas.com on Aug. 4th then hitting the http://www.bantamjeepfestival.com the following weekend since it is in the same area. Then for the ride home maybe take Rt. 66.
I know it sounds CRAZY, but it is something I think would be a blast. Post up if you think you might be interested in taking on this mega-trip. If we get interest maybe we can discuss it more seriously at an upcoming So-Cal Suds and Grub.

Hey ... just throwing it out there to see if everyone thinks I’m nuts, or if I am on to something.

The Topless for Tata’s is taking registration now, so if you are interested you should sign-up. It is only a $10 registration fee and they have very limited spaces. Also, I will be looking into hotels and posting which ones we should make reservations at. Both events have limited hotel space so we should make our reservations ASAP.

Here is the TENTATIVE schedule for the Summer Mega Run.

7/31 - Leave So-Cal
8/3 – Arrive in Pine Grove, PA
8/3 &4 – Comfort Inn, Pine Grove, PA http://www.comfortinn.com/pine_grove...d=15479ad10494
8/4 – Topless for Tata’s Event
8/5-9, on your own. Washington DC, NY City, Amish Country etc.
8/10 – meet at Butler, PA.
8/10 thru 13 – Fairfield Inn and Suites in Slippery Rock, PA. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...slippery-rock/
8/10 – 13th – Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Butler, PA
8/13 – head out towards Chicago to catch Route 66 for the ride home.
8/13 – 16 - Route 66
Arrive back in So Cal 8/16 or 17.

On the ride home I plan to try to arrange Suds & Grubs along the way.
