Default Sunday April 20th run

This is a follow up to the Sunday interest in the Trabuco 4/18 run.

I don't think you guys did Santiago Truck Trail. It runs from Trabuco Creek toward Modjeska Canyon. It's a fairly cool run. I don't know why, but lately the gate has not been locked. I'm not sure if it's still unlocked, but I'm willing to go check it out.

I can make it over there at lunch time.

Anybody in? If even a single person is interested, then I'll be there.

WOODS if I am correct this is the one we all were on a month or so ago. Dayton was saying that the trail is blocked by a slide or something like that somewhere! Just a little heads up, Dayton is supposed to be camping at O'neal Park this weekend if you have his number you may want to check with him.
Here is a pic of us on the trail, maybe you can tell if that's it or not.....

take care,
JAKE

Yeah, that looks like the trail. Not sure how I missed that you guys had run it. I've been to the end a couple times. And am up for it again tomorrow. How far did you guys go? Did you guys find the pond? Here's the coordinates: 33°40'29.13"N, 117°33'49.00"W

I have mountain biked Santiago Truck trail countless times. I have never seen the gate open, and don't think it is supposed to be unless something has changed. You may want to make sure with the Ranger before driving up there, although if the gate is open I am not sure they could cite you. It is a great place to ride! Have fun if you guys end up doing a run, I will be working....

that looks more like a trail then what I went on but I suppose it could be. The top has a steep little climb with a tree on the left and then connects with a road the ends with a turnaround spot at the top?

Yeah, that thing can get crazy difficult in the rain. How did this "Woods Hill" crap get started, anyway? Today I am officially renaming it. "Clackey's Follies"

When I got to the end I thought I was gonna have to turn around. Took me a few tries but got up. NO WAY I'd of made it wet. After e few went down it flattened it down.
