Anyone have one I could use preferably before TDS. San Diego (South Bay).

It's a meter than help you tunes your CB radio and antenna to a good frequency (1.0)


Thanks I have KCCO JK helping me Friday before we leave for TDS.

Basically... from what I understand ... its important. I dont care to understand anymore than that... lol. I guess if your cb isnt calibrated, its going to struggle to broadcast a signal and it puts wear and tear on the electronics within

SWR stands for the standing wave ratio. Effectively it is a measure of how much your signal is reflected when you transmit. It is negatively effected by things like poor grounding of your antenna, a antenna that hasn't been tuned to the proper length, etc.
