My bad on the wind, been out there 3 times in the last couple months and no real with d to speak of, from borrego to ocotillo all was pretty calm.
So I guess it'll be gusty, just have to wear goggles the whole time....

I just got the confirmation today from work that I got the weekend off! 
I already had plans for TDS weekend last year so this will be my first TDS in about 15 years, long enough ago to where I don't remember really being there, I just remember the many TDS stickers my dad used to have on his CJ-7 growing up. I'm still stock (I was supposed to have my lift and 35s by now but it's looking more like next week now) 
. But I've been to that area a few times in the last few years and I know I'll still have fun. I'm mostly just looking forward to camping out and hanging around a huge fire! 
Anyways, it will just be me (not sure if I should bring the new pup or not?) 
I'll be in a tent. I will probably end up getting out there mid afternoon on Friday. I've got a few questions. Is everyone going to be doing the main event run? Is it worth it buying the ticket? Is there a way to just maybe get a t-shirt and some raffle tickets? I think I'd rather spend money on that. I'll see you all out there!

You can always check weather for Salton Sea Airport 92274 zip code. I use the weather channel app. It's been pretty accurate. It shows light winds for this weekend and mid 80's day time and low 50's at night.
