Silly question but never been to TDS before.....are you all planning on running trails too, or mainly just hanging around camp? We r trying to decide whether we need to drive two separate vehicles or not (truck w/trailer and jeep)?

There will be plenty of time running around the area, for sure. Last time, there was a group day run, and night run, each day.. In addition to a good amount of time around the camp after each run.

If I remember correctly, the day run lasted a 4-5 hours, and the night run was like 2 hours or so. Then again, I might be off a bit.. My sense of time is horrible when I'm having a blast!

I don't know if it's been mentioned before in this thread but it really just hurts my heart to see the WWP getting so much attention. They are possibly the WORST military based charity. And before I get blasted for not supporting.. I am active duty. My brother is active duty (and getting medseped for PTSD). I don't really remember the exact numbers but it's something like only 1 out of every 10 dollars goes to military vets.

Okay. Rant over.

Frank, I need to try that Fireball thing. But it's damn hard weaning off of the Honey...
You people have already got my head hurting with the "Fireball" talk...

I'm planning on bringing a metric butt ton of wood, filling up a couple or four growlers (plus normal cheap sitting around the fire telling lies beer), and Angel is planning on making a batch of Sangria to share.

Yes, it could've been longer, but many of us wanted to get back for the EVO raffle ticket drawing... We should've stayed on the trail

Our day run had over 20 Jeeps , maybe more ...

We're bringing a fair amount of wood, cheap beer and some honey. May have to get some Fireball for Frank and Caroline too

Hey gang, I'm planning on cruising out Friday night too (from Poway), and will have the JK towed by my MH. I'll bring some firewood, and more importantly I'll stock my cabinet with the Costco-sized gallon of good ole Fireball.

FYI, I'm also considering whipping up a recipe of Fireball jello-shots! Yum!!
