putting on the kit was the first thing I ever did to a vehicle other than oil and brake pads...wasnt bad at all...did it by myself....I did use a coil compressor...might have one handy just in case...

I have installed many lifts and have never needed spring compressors. As stated by Toad, lift the Jeep, take off the tires, unbolt the calipers, shocks sway links and lift the opposite side of the coil to be worked on. Another tip would be to unbolt your drive shaft from the diff side and slide it inward towards your transfer case. Good Luck.

im going mine the folowing weekend, 2.5" BB. to bad we are not doing it the same weekend we could get a good wrenching day in.

Just to clarify - I did the passengers front coil without a spring compressor and it was definitely do-able. But the remaining 3 coils went much quicker and easier after I ran out and picked up the spring compressor. I have air tools too, which makes spring compressors easy to use.
