Default Took Advantage

Took advantage of the nice weather and DW and I made a trip out to LAncaster to the poppy fields.
The preserve didnt have much out yet but we found a side road and found this.
While we were out there, we also took a trip down the "Singing highway"
Next time we go, DW said' Lets take the Jeep".
There were a couple of roads that still had standing rainwater on em and she didnt want to get the Egde messed up.

I believe so Toad.
We may be going back out this Friday and taking the Jeep this time so we can explore more of the "side roads"
After the evcersion yeaterday, the Edge looks worse than the Jeep did after Rowher.

its humms a tune with your tires, as you drive through it the preset cuts in the road play a little melody. What melody was it anyway?

That's cool. Gotta check that out...though there was a lot of humming on my drive today with the top and doors off. I thought Goodyear MT/R's weren't supposed to be that loud

I forget the tune..... I think William Tells overture.... What ever that is.... Just popped in my head, be in the fast lane west bound after you get off the 14 on Ave G. It will be about middle of the airport on the right and a sign will tell you it is there. You are supposed to be going 55 mph and the grooves are based for a Honda civic wheelbase and tires..... The original road was on Ave K and 65th West and was cut in X patterns and sounded much better. The residents from nearby neighborhoods complained and Honda paved it over after the city of Lancaster measured the groves and spacing..... They then put the grooves down kinda sloppy and in straight lines.... So it is a little off tune then the original that Honda made for the commercial..... But still neat and brings a smile to my son's face every time we go to the airport.......

Honda must have had some bored engineers. Pretty damn cool though
