Default Toyo

Had the pleasure of installing some new tires on the Jeep this week! I had 35in BFG KM2's (actually I have ALWAYS had BFG on ALL my Jeeps). ALthough I have always been happy with my BFG's, I noticed a sizable handling improvement with the Toyo's. I have not had them off-road yet, but am sure they will do great!
I finally think the Jeep look proportionate!

I chose the 37x13.5x17r tires. They measure roughly 36 1/2 installed.

I will post up after the first run with pictures and info o n the performance.

Nice Troy! Was thinking of making the same change at some point next year...I'm sure you're gonna love them. Did you cut the pinch seam for them?

i have the toyos and love them. not much chance for checking grip on rocks, but they are great in loose dirt and wet (muddy) ground. i have aired down to 12 psi so far and with the load range E, they don't look like any air has been removed although grip and ride is improved.

Proportionate? hmmm, i think they look kinda small.
Seriously though, looks good. I'm thinking of getting the Toyos too so anxious to hear what you think of them offroad compared to the km2's

the load range E kindof throws me. Anybody else have any feedback on how they perform aired down on rocks and/or sand?

With the tough side walls they are a great choice for the rocks! My only personnal concern is the soft sand since we do a lot of desert trips and dunes so I'll be interested to get feedback on how they perform. Definitely going with new shoes next year just not sure which one, km2, Goodyear Wrangler w/kevlar or the Toyo OC.

BTW - just now realized why all the OC guys/gals are going with the Open Country tire!
