Default Trails in Ridgecrest

I am in Ridgecrest and I was wondering if there are any trails that could be done in an afternoon. I have seen alot of a few rockcrawlers in town so I know there has to be something good close by.

I saw some you tube video of Defense Mine Trail. I am here for some training near China Lake and will probably go with some friends in the JK, but no other Jeep. I really dont want to go with only one vehicle, but there is nothing else I can do around here so if you know of any other trails that arent as challenging please let me know.

There are a crap load of dirt roads in the mtns south of Ridgecrest. Nothing to challenging if you don't want to. Red Rock state park has some stuff too. Check at the visitors station at Jawbone canyon. They'll give you the straight dope.

I live in Monterey now, but I grew up in Ridgecrest and I come back every other week or so to visit family and go Jeeping or ride dirtbikes. I have a Rubicon Unlimited and I'd be game to hit a trail with you. Let me know if you're interested. I'll be in town this Tuesday through Thursday.

Thanks for offering to go with, but I was only up there last week. Definitely going to go back with some friends sometime.
