Default Victorville Question

This is kind of a last minute trip but the DW and I are headin to the Victorville area for a couple of days to unwind from the last two months of hell.
Kinda plan on leaving sometime mid morning tomorrow and staying at Shady Oasis Kampground in Victorville.
Question is, other than Stoddard, what other areas could a stock jeep wonder thru without getting into trouble?
Thanks.

If you don't mind going as far as Barstow, go to Calico. Many fun trails. Just stay clear of Odessa. You'll know to turn around at the Gate Keeper. I did.

Just for future reference, the Cougar Butes area over in Johnson Valley has two AWESOME trails. Cakewalk and Bullfrog. They are off Camp Rock Rd. about 2 miles east look them up sometime.
