Weekend in Big Bear
Allen and I had a weekend in big bear and had a wonderful time. we where going to meet up with martyz but we never got to see him .so we did a few trails out there .
We started with Jacoby Cyn and it was a nice easy trail then we went to Gold Mountain it was also a nice trail, we did it once before with eddie toad and every one a few weeks ago but this time we went backwards and the trail looked completely different but it was fun and went down thru the rock garden . Sunday we started with dishpan springs backwards from the way we did it last week that was a new animal going up the water falls this time we where picking the hard lines and it was a lot of fun then we headed over to white mountain now this trail was not open last time we where there and it was more difficult then i thought it would be from dishpan side it said it was a blue trail and we where ok with that then we got to the hill climb and the rocks it got interesting there is harder side and there was no way i or allen could make it with just us needing some spotters and maybe bigger tires and lockers for allen but we did get up and over on the other side of the trail . would like to go back with a group and see if we can get up the other harder side. there where some tj's up there but they where running 40"tires and crazy lifts and look like they where haven a good time . here is a link to the pictures http://www.nerdis.com/BigBearweekend/

We DID have a fricken blast!
It was a great time. Thanks for posting the pics so soon, Harry. I am bummed we forgot the camera...again! While I really like wheelin with all the peeps we can get on the trail, it was amazing how much faster it goes getting through the obstacles with just two vehicles... Its all good though!
The waterfall at Dishpan was actually much easier than I anticipated...at least the initial climb was...it was that loose sandy stuff that wanted to send my Jeep into the rock that was a little more challenging....strange how you can get one impression looking at something and then experience something else all together when trying it...eh Troy? Sounds like Bad Idea?
