well, we've been considering it socal but.... there have been a few requests for a cencal and may give it some more thought.

I love how San Francisco is the middle of the state and it is considered NorCal. I guess Eureka is Canada.

I'd say the middle is more like Monterey-- Bakersfield is definitely south of the center mark... check out the map (and, yes, Eureka is in Canada. )

I always considered anything north of LA, not SoCal, but then again, I'm in SoSoCal so what do I know...

In 1965 legislators proposed to divide the State into two new States (Socal & Norcal) right along the crest of the Tehachapi Mountains. Wherever that is
