I live in Santa clarita and the shops I ha e talked to are crazy high on lifts and wheels, any suggestions?

I don't know the area but I would purchase the kits and wheels online and then do as much of the work as you can on your own or find a good shop to do the installs. I recommend northridge4x4.com, jeeperzcreeperz.com, 4wheelparts.com. They all have reasonable prices on their lifts. Good luck!

I Shop at 4wheel parts and installed myself. Worked for my budget.

I agree with the others who recommended buying the lift components and wheels directly from the manufacturer. With regard to lift, I can recommend Full Traction - they are just over the hill in Bakersfield. Chris at FT is on this forum and he may even let you test drive his rig...

If you are not mechanically inclined, there are is a local guy, Jim Cox of JC Fab & Design who has done a lot of the harder work on my Jeep. PM me if you'd like his contact info.

Lift Install Party , then take it to good shop to get properly aligned.

Find a shop you don’t hate and use them to get a quote on the same stuff.

I agree, I installed mine in the garage and what I learned while doing it is tremendously valuable.

Like he said we are just over the hill in bakersfield. We do full installs, gears, bumpers etc.
