This year the Desert Safari will be on March 2nd - 4th.

This will be my first time going to Tierra Del Sol and I was wondering how many JK-ers from the forum are planning to go? I'm pretty excited and hope to win a really cool prize to help build up my beloved Jeep!!!

LOCATION UPDATE 3/1/12 10:30a.m.:
Freewill, Mike948, a I am here. I think it's the same spot as last year. From highway 86 turn on to S22 and go about three miles. We're on the right. Mike is putting up orange signs but it's windy so they may not stay.... It's a large area with plenty of room to spread out. The coordinates are:
33.2650663 (33°15'54.2370"), -116.0097981 (-116°0'35.2728") - Borrego Salton Sea Way, West Imperial, California 92274
Look for a 40' black and tan RV with a big American flag waving.

I've heard about this and am probably going to try and go. I'm not affiliated with TDS, if I decide to get into a club in the area they'd probably be the ones though. A JK Forum camping area would be pretty cool for those of us who don't know anyone
