We had a blast over the weekend... Thanks for the hospitality... Burritos were great and the chicken chilling hit the spot Sunday AM..... But best of all I lost my "honey" virginity...

Kaye and I had a great time - we'll probably never get all the sand out of our little Aliner!

It's a great group and I hope we can hook up with you guys again next winter!

We'll soon be off to Colorado - If any of you guys and gals get out to the Ouray / Silverton area give us a shout!

I don't know how to say it without sounding redundant but I had an excellent time this weekend and was so glad to see my old friends and meet so many new ones!!! I love each event/run because I meet more cool people. Life is good

Thanks Rob and Kim for the yummy breakfast burritos. Lot's of people brought ingredients and helped cook but they had the work station and assembly line going in and around their trailer. Definitely a tradition to carry on!
The runs on Friday and Saturday were great. It's amazing how much fun can be had in the beautiful desert that can sometimes look featureless and lifeless.
Four people from our group won prizes. Very cool! None of them were me... even though I was four numbers away from the Superwinch

I hope we can do this again next year.

Well this makes three years now and it just keeps getting bigger and better. The first year we had 10 and last year we had 20 or so and this year we had 52 say they were coming out and I think we were right around 50. So to everyone that pitched in with the breakfast burritos bringing stuff to helping out with the cooking a big thank you because there is no way Kim and I could cook for this big of a group. Next year we need to spread out and not have a good group and a bad group. The groups were name because we had good Kim (my wife) and the other had bad Kim (JKim). The thing that stands out for me is the camaraderie and meeting people that you click with right away. It was a great weekend and I think JK gypsy will agree with me on a rule we need to enforce and that is NO GRAIN ALCOHOL. Evidently it makes some people hear and see thing and it tastes like crap I was told. Great job Caroline. I did not win again but two numbers off from a welder so that makes me 0 for 5 and Jose didn’t win for the first time so I felt a little better but then half day Frank wins so I was now feeling totally rejected. So Caroline made me feel better with a couple of slugs of honey. Next year will be my year!

Sandi and I had a great time meeting SoCal JK folks and enjoying TDS. Y'all DO know how to party!!

We had, what, 1500 Jeeps? No two are alike! Amazing place for a couple of noobs to visit.

Many thanks to Caroline, Mike, Kim, and many other good folks. Our run on Saturday was a gas, and we picked up some new trail skills along the way - like terrorizing a Honda CRV

We missed a major prize package by ONE number!! Our almost-stock JK could have used that stuff!!

The kicker: We haven't left the site yet!! Maybe today - the wind has started up again.
