Default Window Tinting

Hi guys, can you share with me what type of window tint you guys got? also im on a budget so can you tell me how much you guys paid? Ceramic? Metal? How dark? did you tint the front windows? I have a 2 door with the freedom hardtop...

What's the law on this here in socal? I've heard of folks getting tickets for going too dark.

the law says you are not allowed to put any kinda tint on the front but with 35% tint during the day not too many cops will hassle you for it...that being said i love the look of dark windows so i went with a 5% tint all around

I got 15% on the front. I ordered the rear tinted from the factory. The fronts were like $80 at the Best Buy in Otay Ranch. They have a lifetime warranty and will remove them for free if I get a ticket.

Tinter used 3M, 5% all around, lifetime warranty, 180.00

Unless they have changed it, this is it for Calif.

FWIW, I had 35% done to my last truck and there was no problem with it
either from the local PD or CHP

Did you guys get the heat resistant tint or something ? i dont know too much about it but theres like a ceramic tint or a metallic tint ?
