Just throwin this out there, but if you have comp on your jeep, insurance will pay and there's no increase in rate, no fault. I called my insurance company and they sent Safelight (safelite, can't spell) out 2 days late, new windshield for nothing! They even got me one with tint on top edge.

 

I've done the same thing with the same experience. No charge and no rate increase because the defect in the windshield is considered a safety hazard.

 

I need mine replaced too!!!
