Default Any B'ham folks here?

Just got my jeep last Wednesday, and am ready to see what it can do. Are there any other locals that hit trails in the area. Morris Mtn., Mountainside, Greyrock, etc. Stoney Lonesome still needs a little work but it's fun for beginners. So let's get some local rides together. Who's in??

First, welcome to the forum and the world of JK's.

Rides in this area do happen every once in a while, so keep an eye on this section (The South). There are several of us that post in the "Huntsville, AL" thread, so you might want to keep an eye there as well. A little further north than you, but pretty close still.

There was a ride a Gray Rock this past weekend. With all the rain you would have needed a boat. What part of "Langfordland" do you live in? Caos has a ride in October that should be big.

I just got my JK about 3 weeks ago so I dont know about any trails yet. It has been a while since I had a 4x4. I live just south of Bham between Lakeshore Dr. and Alford Ave.

B'ham here! Well, Odenville actually (near Mood/Leeds).....haven't taken mine out in a while, but I mostly just play around on some local trails near Moody or Pinson area. Been to Gray Rock once back when I first got my JK, it was fun but I wasn't ready for it...too extreme for a stock JK IMO. Been up to Wilborn's ATV trails a few times with some family that run dune buggies...that place is cool, mostly hills really but still has some good mild trails.

I live in Hoover, and we should all be very proud of Mr. Langhole. Haha!!! I am very interested in the ride in October with Caos. Is there anymore info on it? Like where and exactly when.
