It was worth a shot...
If anyone knows of an other place somewhat local I'd love to give it a try for next weekend.

I'd be up for trying Hillz n Hollarz sometime. I'll be in and out of state for work in the next month or so, though. My jeep is an 07 unlimited rubicon. It's stock, so I won't get too adventurous.

Just went yesterday...trails were good...not crazy muddy though I did get stuck twice. Found out my rear locker isn't engaging!

Im from central Ky, and would enjoy going on a small run somewhere this weekend. April 13th 14th...

Where could we go thats not too rough, since Im all stock? All I have for recovery gear is a HD come-a-long.

I could also pick up a Hilift before the trip. Big-time spender here!

Let me know!

Cool that, yeah, I don't have a winch but some straps and planning on picking up a hi-lift. Hillz and Hollarz is closed now so I'll have to get some ideas on some easy trails relatively close by. I can't go this weekend b/c of work but next weekend is good. I'll ask the local club here about trailing ideas. Do you wheel much?

Well I cant honestly say Ive wheeled in a Jeep very much, Ive only owned one for about 5 months, and been on 3-4 trips.

I have, however, taken 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4x4's into places they shouldnt have been, and made it out. For years I drove a 3/4 ton truck of varying years and makes, and each one had a small lift and 33 - 37" tires. The largest was a F350 SuperDuty Diesel with 6" BDS lift and 37" rubber, lockers, and warn hubs. It was fun, but too dang long for a lot of trails.

Also had a GMC yukon I wheeled a little, and a Ford Explorer Sport for a little while.

Anyway, I can honestly say I have some experience, and it would seem that the JK is the easiest vehicle Ive been out in. (in so far as ease of wheeling)

So....lets plan something up for next weekend. Just a day run or something.
