Hey Everyone,
I'm in Conway and just discovered this thread. I've had my Jeep since January and have been having a blast in it exploring parts of Arkansas that few people ever see any more. I just installed a 2.5 inch lift, rock rails and a winch over the weekend. Here is a before and after pic. Can't wait to try it out on the trails!!! Now I just need some new 35" tires and I'll be set!!!

If you haven't checked out the national forest area just North of Hector, AR. I highly recommend it. Look on Google Maps for Lindsey Mtwy off of HWY 27. It's a great trail that fords East Fork Illinois Bayou several times and the scenery is amazing!!!

Matt, nice to hear from you. Im in conway too. I would love to get together sometime and wrench on the jeeps or go explore. I have been on some of the trails in the ozarks as well and camped back there with a group from all over arkansas guided by central overland. I marked some of the trails in my gps. Heres my rig.

What neighborhood do you live in? I would be glad to help with winch/bumper mods and go exploring sometime. All it takes is a little guts to make the first cut!!

That's what I was thinking. Spend $400 or more on a bumper or $60 on some end caps. Same thing with the fenders - $600 for Bushwacker fenders or $20 for some door trim and cut my own. I'm cheap!!!

Welcome! Sharp lookin rig you got there. I would love to head up to the ozarks with y'all when y'all go. I've been up there once and it was beautiful but there are so many trails its hard to find the ones that pose a bit of a challenge. Know of any good ones? I know a couple of the ones we went on got pretty tight and its painful hearing the scratches in a newer jeep. Didn't have that problem with my old TJ

We were on pretty tame trails other than a few spots and water crossings. It was pretty tight on our trip as well with scratches. But we were on an drive and camp in the middle of nowhere trip.
