Arkansas Riders
I only seen a handful of jks while I was there but I stayed around the mud pits my self. Talked the hummer in the pick to try the hole I'm pulling him out of. Lol granted I only made It about 3 feet farther than he did.
We were torn between Bryd's and Buckhorn. We opted for Buckhorn, and fortunately, because the the kids spotted a Sasquatch....

And, no, they won't be getting anything for Christmas.
Ran a couple of different trails and really got surprised. The pic is actually one spot, just past the powerlines that I drug the trans skid. The other was a series of large boulders. Since it was kinda muddy out, we opted not to go thru that section. Panell Road was awesomely bad. It's hard to believe that it's a county road.
So much fun to be had up here...

Don't know if any of y'all had seen this, but this event already happened and I just stumbled upon it. Looks pretty interesting.
Might want to subscribe in case it happens again.

So, one of the guys from work and I decided to take an "executive lunch" up to Rush Springs. The rain was heavy for maybe 15 minutes. The rest of the time, it was perfect. It was great, we were the only one's there. We are talking about making this a twice a month occasion with one other jeeper and maybe an fj joining us as well. Great day!
Sometimes one gets a bug in their head and can't shake it loose. Starting some research on a 4 day trip from Fayetteville and Hot Springs this fall, camping all the way down, then taking the Interstate back home. First trail ride would be at Byrd's. Since Byrd's is a small park, I'm thinking of heading south from there and setting up camp somewhere along the Overland trail. Next spot to hit would be Brock's Creek, although it's hard to find any info about the area for anything other than atv's (granted, this idea just popped up today and I haven't had a lot of time to research). I hear there are lots of little areas around Petite Jean, which is a great area for camping. Although, the wife will probably want to stay at a cabin with our boy, while my daughter and I rough it by the lake. We'd make our way south from there, to Superlift spend the day there. My goal is to tough as little pavement as possible and any route assistance would be much appreciated.
On a wierd, but cool side note. I was out at Buckhorn this weekend and met a 4x4 truck coming up Panell road(one of the most technical areas at Buckhorn). It was an older gentleman and his wife. We both stopped and got to talking. Turns out his name is Panell, and he grew up on that road many years ago. We talked about the history of the area and his experiences out there (cause I am a chatty f&$%er and old people love to talk). Super nice guy and a super great area for wheeling for free.

Hello all, Van Buren here. Just wanted to check in. Also got my first JKU a couple of weeks ago. Been in and out of XJ's (4) for about 15 years. Hopefully some summer trips are coming up.

Quit a few good jeep clubs here in the state and then always Superlift which is Hot Springs Off Road Park now.
