DgonzJK - Corbett's a pretty easy place to get around in. A Jeep should have no problem with 90% of the place in 2 wheel drive. Most of the mud you can avoid if you want (and you should) but you'll have to go through some soft sand. If you can do the sand in 2 wheel drive, no issues. My FJ 40 can do the sand all day long in 2 x 2 and it's quite a bit heavier than a jeep. Worse comes to worse, we'll pull you out or through whatever you want to try. Recovery is half the fun.

I'll post up a pre-run when we see if there's another interested party or two.

BTW - Thanks for letting me tag along at Ocala and Hardrock. It was a blast. The truck is now detailed again. A few new scars but not too bad. Only 6 hours of scracth X and polishing

If anybody wants to pre-run Corbett, let me know. I'd like to go do some exploring out there.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
We let this guy in based on a charity issue for ONE ride, and now he is like a "tick". Burrowing in and never letting go. Moderators, kick this stray to the curb!

...unless of course he hosts a post ride party at his tikki bar!!! I'll bring the Capt.

Hey Bro (Yes. For those that don't know, "Coach" is my Brother) settle down. It seems that I may have helped you install your lift on your Jeep. Helped Sctt dig his out and helped Eric get his off the log. Try to think of a Landcruiser as a Jeep's bigger/fatter/slower/more thirsty step-brother. Otherwise, I'll host a party at the tiki hut and offer all my tools and garage for repairs. If it's warm, you can swim in the pool or the pond.

Hey this one is kinda like a Jeep pullin' out a Jeep. See I'll do this too if you let me go.

Come on over... You know you want to.
It is an excuse to go on another trip
Let me know when the scouting trip is. I want some pre-run GPS info along with the fun (and close) trip.

I've been on trail 2 and trail 1 before. Last time I was on trail 1 it was real tight and we turned around. I've never been on 14 or 15.

I think we should plan the scouting trip for the weekend of the 14th on Saturday, if possible. We can run the powerlines to trail 13 to North Grade to trail 2 and 1 and then take 13 back to 14 and 15. Should be a nice run but I gotta warn everyone. I haven't run these trails in a while and I'm not sure how tight they'll be. The powerlines are like a road and easy.

I've heard from Justin and Dgonz about the scouting trip. Anyone else that's interestd is welcome to ride along. Last couple times in Corbett we saw fox, deer, hawks, etc. PM me if interested and I'll get you my cell phone # for coordination. Remember, this is just to scout the place out for the main event. Probably a half day cruisin'.

If this is not as tight as ONF when I went, then it will be fine for most. If the pre-run is a Sat, I'm out, if it is a Sun, I can go in the afternoon, like meet around 2. Otherwise I am out, for the pre-run.

That's good for me. I can come straight from work, and be there around 6 AM, or take a nap and be there around 2 PM. Let me know. That is for the 15th by the way (on the 8th I am going to raid my local circuit city on it's last day...)
