Default Corbett Weather

Just thought I'd let you guys know that it has rained here for over 12 hours. The Corbett area had to get at least 2" of rain today and it's still coming. In Boca we got 5-6". Should have put a little more water on the ground for more fun mud holes. Keep dancing the rain dance for a little while longer.

If it keeps up, save money for a snorkel.

I hate to be the party pooper of the bunch but I didn't buy a swamp buggy. I like my fair share of mud but once the water reaches the doors, I'm out . To me it's a risk vs gain thing. I have to drive in my Jeep daily and plan on keeping this one around for a while. Driving around in a swamp-ass mud covered floor waiting for the stink to go away for weeks doesn't quite outweight the "that was fun" factor to me... Much less having one full day of cleaning for one short moment of fun. Nope, just not into using my Jeep as a boat... At least not for quite a few more years that is. I know you probably don't expect hearing this from me but -RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!!!

Trust me, I have no plans on backing out or anything... I just don't want to see it super sloppy out there. Besides, I have too much invested in getting there and hanging out with the coolest people on the planet... Other Jeepers.

BOlsAK - no worries. I know the whole DD feeling that's why I have 2. One to play real hard in and the other to play just, well, uhhh, Hard in. Of course my wife complains up to the point I clean her truck.

My 40 got washed for the better part of about 16 hours today. Of course nobody can tell cause it has no real paint. Big, Bad and ugly Like the movie, or is that good bad and ugly? Anyway, the beauty behind Corbett is that you can drive around and watch the rest of us tear our stuff up and play where you want.

Bottom line is Corbett needed the rain so bad it will never be bad this quick. Just a few more opportunities for smaller trucks to play in more areas and the bigger trucks might really get stuck good.

I'm with bOLsAK=3, no more mud. I had my fill on Sunday... I need to pick up a shovel, and some more recovery gear, so I'd be happy to move the breakfast to an earlier time, and go to 4WP.
