I wanted to make this trip, but have other obligations. Still out of work after getting downsized, so I can't justify going to my wife. Women, huh? LOL!
Take plenty of pics everyone and enjoy! Should be damp for ya.
Also I seemed to have damaged my differential on the rear. Dang boulders just jump out of no where. Learned a lesson, go forward on a narrow trail with steep drops. Trail crumbled when I backed up and slid down 50+ feet at a 40 degree angle. Luckily that boulder stopped me from falling into a rather nasty ravine. LOL.
And yes, My stock JK pulled out of it with no problem, up a steep, sandy coal dusty loose hill. Love my JK! (Thanks to myt experienced partner on the ride, I never saw anyone jump and cuss from a moving Jeep before as we slid backwards down that incline, pretty funny.)
Oh Well, all part of the fun eh?

For those of you interested in going over to Rusty's Offroad sometime while we are down there, a couple points of interest. there is no show room so to speak. It is basically a distribution point. So you need to know what you are going into purchase. For example, Im going over to pick up a 1" billet body lift.
They are locatedjust a couple of miles south of the 431/I57 intersection.
