I dont think its mean at all, what should he expect? How far a drive is it for you guys? I'd have him leave before you. Is 60 his top speed or the top speed he can comfortably cruise at without over heating? Does it over heat if he goes over that? whats that deal lol

Its about 3 hours for them and a little over 2 for me. Of course thats not 60mph driving.

ya know maybe talk to him and tell him he should really take it our for a first time to a more local spot to test it out, so he's not spending hundreds of dollars just to get the thing towed if he breaks down or having it towed some place local to where he breaks down and then having to worry about it spending the weekend there, getting it fixed there, getting back there to pick it up, its just kinda crazy lol

 

I was all about doing a DP trip / camping with you guys but this got planned on a day I have to work so I am just SOL.

I will be going up to DP on my own sometime soon if anyone wants to join me.

Could he rent a U-haul or something and tow it to DP? Obviously he'd have to have a tow vehicle, but that would be a better option than getting stuck over a weekend trying to get the thing fixed (cheaper, too).

Oh, and have him leave Thursday night....that should be about the right timing.
