Default CANCELLED........Feb 21st...N.Ga jeep ride....y'all follow me.

CANCELLED

Y'all follow me.

Meet at Home Depot across from the outlet mall on 400 at 9:30.

Pack a lunch.
We will ride up RT 9 and do, "Sheepwallow rd" which can be a difficult / fun section, especially if it is wet. That will get the blood going off the bat. Then after that, we will do a new forest road then what we've done on the other newbie rides working our way to Suches, Ga. From there we do a interesting forest rd called, "Flatlands" which will provide fun factor because the beginning of it is kinda good. We'll follow out of the forest roads and then we can maybe run Richard Russel scenic byway for some group jeep pictures on the overlooks high up on the mountain. Then from there roll into Helen for dinner and a drink for those interested in the complete day.

At least I know where the hole is so I don't fall in it again ... and the log should still be gone ...

But we're going through that area from the other direction and still have to fiqure out how to get past where I got stuck going the other way.

Sounds fun or scary?

I will be there! Hopefully with the wifey. If not with a friend or 2.

Other direction? Nice! Guess we have to get in the low gears and do a little hill climb!

If it's as wet as when we are there I say we can't make it in the opposite direction. If it's dry then no problem. It's nice to have gravity on your side.

I think we can regardless of the weather. I would hope my rig will make it up one of the 3 potential spots. Or we could take the bypass, or those that want to take the bypass, through the woods to avoid that one spot. The rest was just good quality fun.

Hopefully someone will get pics of my rig on the trail. I have none :(

I'm just not all confident of deep mud and 32" tires.

I hear you. I purchased a rig and it was just serviced and upgraded and I want to really give her a once over on he trail. Not trying to get it stuck but still want to experiment a little bit

35 or 36" MTs and a 6" Long Arm. My last TJ was like your JK. Still went over almost everything but was 32" tires with a 2" lift. Just don't have the same experience with this bigger Jeep and want to test it out

Hope to see you out there since you and I have the winches!
