Ft. Rucker/Dothan, AL area
Hey everyone,
Figured I'd throw out a thread for anyone in the Ft. Rucker area and see if there was enough of us here to start something. Nothing formal, just a call list so if you got the itch, you would have a starting point. Post it up!

Im here at Rucker for flight school too. No1AP think I remember seeing your jeep in the parking lot a B co. I drive a green JK with a net on the back of it. How often do you go wheeling? We should get together and go sometime. There are tons of Jeeps on post but it doesn't seem like any of them are interested in wheeling.

Ok lets go this weekend. My wife has been asking me this week to take her wheeling. I was looking at The Great American Park in Auburn, AL and they are going to be open this weekend. I've never been there so I don't know if it is any good. On their website it looks like they have a lot of rocks and some hills. Have you ever been there? Boggs and Boulders is fun too. I went there for their Jeep Jamboree in April and had a good time. Let me know what you think.

Hey, are you gonna be able to make it down to Boggs and Boulders this weekend for the Mud Fest. Im planning on going Saturday and will most likely leave in the morning. Let me know. It should be fun.
I was at Rucker for three years teaching the CH-47F course and just left in Sep of 2010. I never found many places to go wheeling except Boggs and boulders. There is a set of power lines you can get access to on the Dothan side.. Take CR49 north from where is crosses 84 turn right at the stop and a few miles down there will be a place to access on the left. Theres an old crashed helicopter down there but other than that uneventful. I'm in Hawaii now tons of places to go from basic to extreme from mudding to rock crawling tons of jeeps too. If you are in the course tell Scott and Kit that Z says hi.
