Default gear install

can anyone recommend a reputable/affordable gear shop in the central florida area?

where did you go and how much did you pay for the labor?

thanks in advance!

I went by Volusia Drivetrain in Daytona/Holly Hill the other day and I think he's offering me a great deal. I told him I would buy the gears and he quoted me $600 labor out the door. He wants to use Superior gears though, likes those best. They are who my local Jeep club use.

Karnavore was telling me of a place in Aburndale that did his for 1200.

i think they quoted $1415.00.

then they offered a $50 discount today when i asked to take it to $1200. so, i am going to shop around a bit more before biting on that offer.

rooster,

the $600 offer for labor from volusia drivetrain seems pretty reasonable....

what do you think about offering him $1000 for labor for doing both of our jeeps? i think it would benefit all involved nicely.

i dont mind driving to volusia as long as they have quality mechanics and the price is right.

let me know.

thanks!
