Default Gear Installer

Anyone you would reccomend for installing new gears? I live in North Port but travel to Tampa once a month to fly out so basically anywhere between. Also work in Ft. Myers. Also looking for a good allignment shop that will adjust control arms and track bars.

Thanks

I haven't gone to him for gears, but Jessie at Farmboy Fabrications in Fort Myers did a really good job on my flipped draglink kit (required welding), he has some pretty sick stuff in his shop and he doesn't charge outrageous prices. Blazer on 42's with 1 tons getting axles done in there last I checked

What 4x4 shop are you talking about? Do you have a # for Dr. D's?

Thanks

I get all my stuff done at 4x4's and more off of palm beach blvd. they are very good and the young guy named terry that does all the wrenching is excellent, but when you call 239-694-7544 you will talk to brad he's a good buddy of mine let him know I sent you and he will take care of you, make sure you ask for Brad he knows jeep stuff the best.

The number to Dr. D's is 941-743-3677 ask for Dean, he called me today and said the front is done and went in great, he should be finishing up the rear tomorrow, so I should have a review very soon if you want to wait just to make sure, however these guys have been doing this for a long time, I don't believe they have done electric lockers yet until mine but I feel very confident they know what they are doing. They are jeep guys themselves so they helps in my opinion.

well so far so good, the lockers work awesome the gears really seem to help no more turning overdrive off, much more torquey off the line(if thats a word) which is great! Trying to take it nice and easy for break in, but I hit a couple of really soft deep sandy easy trails last night and the lockers are such an unbelievable difference with the rear locker alone I dont really even need 4x4. I actually took my buddy brad with me that runs 4x4's and more and he was pretty impressed himself.

On a side note I drove the jeep home without re programming it for the 4.88 gears just to see if I could tell any differences, and I would definetly recommend re programming it shifts much better and I can really feel the difference now.
