PS, make sure your radiator fan assemblies aren't on the verge of breaking, mine took a dump 20 minutes into the ride and the carquest down the street only had 1 left! lol.

I know the last group met at a gas station just off the highway and it looked like they had plenty of parking lot so maybe we should do the same.

I believe we are meeting at the Pilot Gas Station around 10am. Gives us guys with a drive a little time to get there. I figure we will leave the gas station at about 10:30 and have a blast at Hard Rock.

What are the trails like there? Are they mostly sand do you get any mud or big rocks? i have driven through there several times but never gone on any trails.

I'm going to try to head up there Friday and camp out. If I don't go Friday I'll leave really early Saturday so I can be at the gas station by 10.

easy way to take a look is google hard rock orv and go into the photos. Look at 4x4 section. I see some rocks and dirt trails, but not much mud in the pictures they have.

There isn't much mud at all. Alot of ups and downs, gravel, rock, and some tires and pipes to play with. Mostly trails, but definatly not flat.

Do they have by passes for the obstacles you don't want to do.

Absolutly. I would also say that a stock jeep could get through 80% of what's there. The other 20% you can easily avoid.
