Default Help Broken Bracket

I was driving last night and heard a noise in the rear. I Looked underneath and the bracket that holds my rear sway bar is broken in Half @ the weld. I am calling Rancho this morning to get a new Bracket. My question is can I drive it like that ? I want to go home this weekend (Tonight That Is 200 miles) and not sure if it would be O.K. to drive it like that. Any Imput ?

I drove mine at city speed with the rear sway disconnected. Its a little loose feeling thats for sure. I dont know that I would have drove it at highway speeds. If I were you I would find me a welder somewhere and throw him 10 bucks to weld the split until your new one comes in.

I would find a welder locally if you can. It won't take much to fix that. That will make it okay to drive until you decide to order something else. If welder is worth anything you will probably never need anything.

That sucks, I would say get it welded before you attempt to drive long distances especially on the HWY. if your still in miami call 4 wheel parts in miami gardens 786-267-6550 they should be able to help you.

Thanks for the advice. I Just made it home with no problem. I spoke to rancho today and they are sending me the bracket to Miami on Monday.
I am going tomm. to get it welded until then. I might just leave the welded one on and keep the other as a spare in the Jeep, that would really suck if that happened on a trail in the middle of no where
