We were able to make last weekend. I can't say what the trail used to be like but it was still fun although nothing challenging. Multiple creek and stream crossings made great photo and video ops. The tip to hit max patch afterwards was great. It took about 2 hours to run the trail from start to finish and probably a half hour to make it back to I-40 on the improved roads.

^^^ looks like a good time! I would like to check out this trail but it's a little bit of a trek from down here in north georgia. Anybody know of any other trails in this area to combine and make a day out of it?

I don't know of anything close to that area, but me and a buddy just did this trail on Sunday and the improvements made were mostly trimming brush and putting barriers up. It is a very easy trail and the creek crossing was very low. It was at one time knee high

I'll probably just try to find some trails a little closer to home if that's the case, thanks for the update
